Lutheran Elementary School Easter Bazaar

The students of all 7 grades of the Lutheran Elementary School prepared a one-hour Easter program for their parents. In it they introduced the Christian reasons for celebrating Easter holidays – remembering the Last Supper, the Crucifixion, and most of all, the Resurrection of our Lord. The children, together with their teachers, sang songs, acted out a drama and prayed.

In addition, during the days before Easter the children made various small presents, and they baked Easter cookies. These were sold before and after the Easter program.

The money earned from the Easter Bazaar will be used during this summer as the Martin Lutheran congregation and the Center for Christian Education head for a mission trip to Ukraine.
