At the end of every school week the students of the Lutheran Academy not only “thank God it’s Friday,” but also “thank God it’s worship day” as they gather in the hall of the Bible School for chapel.

The students are divided by age groups, starting from preschool to high school, to ensure that the content is age appropriate and engaging at their level.

An important aspect of our chapel services center around student involvement, as children become a part of the liturgy. At every age level, students lead prayers, worship songs, and participate in the Bible readings. The older grades even prepare activities that emphasize the main point of the sermon.

Many of our students have never experienced church before, but at the CCE we believe God uses us as a bridge to an active worship life. Chapel is one of the many ways that our students experience Christ at our school, making us thankful for Fridays!
